System Test

The testing team conducts a full set of test cases on a complete, integrated system to evaluate it’s compliance with the functional requirements.  No knowledge of the design or code is necessary for the completion of such a test.  The purpose of these tests is to check the design limits of the system, program behaviour and to demonstrate that the system is ‘fit for purpose’.
